Why You Want To Weld With Pulse Functionality:

  • The same weld penetration can be obtained with less power and less heat. The more heat, the more your material will warp from the welding process. This is especially important for welding sheet metal.
  • Welders have a working duty cycle rating based on the relationship between amperage used versus time needed to wait for welder to be useable again. The less power you use, the less time the machine needs to cool down, and the more productive a user can be.
  • Pulse features allow the user to create a uniform and reliable weld more easily.
  • A pulsed weld is visually appealing, and gives the appearance of a perfect weld that was created by a machine.
  • The user can go back over ugly welds that were previously made to make them look nicer.

Why RJ45 Cables?:

  • Quite a few welders use RJ45 cables because of their high current carrying capabilities for signals, and for their high signal quality. This makes it a perfect cable for connecting a pedal to a welder.

Universal Applications:

  • With some simple wiring, you can retrofit the TIG Perfect into other welders as well - such as the Miller Syncrowave for example. This usually just involves splicing two wires and thats it.
  • "Universal" welder selection includes an additional RJ45 cable to aid in installation.
  • The TIG Perfect can drive a 0-10 volt signal, up to 1 amp of current (most welders typically only need less than 0.1 amp for the signal). You can test the signal range and current draw on your welder using a volt meter.

It will cost $15 shipping & handling to anywhere in the lower 48 states in the USA. (Note: We also ship internationally.)
